Sustainable development
Sustainable development is a multifaceted field that sits at the intersection of the economy, society and the environment and its many different aspects interact with each other. For example, green transition results in new supply chains that alter natural habitats as new critical mineral deposits are developed and operated; human activities contribute to biodiversity loss (I wrote an article about biodiversity "La biodiversité: le parent pauvre du développement durable", for that matter, published in Traduire, 242|2020, pages 55-67 -Read the article (in French)).
